Las Estrellas has been expertly planned to maximize the community’s stunning natural setting — 150 acres of gently rolling hills and wooded arroyos with fantastic views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The centerpiece of the community will be a 10-acre native park whose natural beauty and mature trees have been retained to provide shade and private settings. The park will also have grassy areas perfect for picnics, playing, or just getting away for awhile; play equipment for children, and sand pits nearby for volleyball. Miles of trails will weave throughout the neighborhoods, connecting residents to the Park, Village Center and Senior Center. Over a mile of paved trail provides handicap access to and from the Village Center and leads right to the Santa Fe Plaza.
